Trax is a red and white purebred beagle we raised and have shown a couple times. In the fall of 2009, he earned two ribbons toward his APRI Champion title, and we hope to finish him in 2010. At that time, he weighed 15 lbs and was over a year old. After his last show, we decided to "free feed" him for the winter and he gained about a pound to 16 lbs (video clip here of Trax being weighed), which is a little bit too heavy for him. We have leveled off his food now, but we don't mind if he's a little heavy going into winter. He doesn't mind, either! :-)
