Drop of Lenon Sunshine Liz

"Lemon Liz" has about the sweetest disposition one could hope for. My youngest daughter loves her the most. Recently, she came to my crying and carrying one mitten. I asked her why she was crying, thinking she had lost the other mitten. She said she was running to give the mitten to Lemon Liz, and she fell down. The mitten was too small for her, so she thought Lemon Liz might want it.

Liz is about 12" tall and weighs about 20-22 lbs when in average shape. Her puppies vary is size and color, depending upon the father. She has had tri-colored, lemon and white, and red and white puppies.

We once had a dog show judge visit us, and we asked her to pick out our best beagles according to show standards. She picked Lemon Liz as one of the top 4. I would not have recognized that, possibly because it's harder to judge her due to her color being different than the typical show beagle. If I was to change something about Liz, it would be her ear length. I like to see a longer ear on a beagle. But evidently, it is not bad because that judge liked her!
